Grandma's Lemon Pie

Ingredients to make Grandma's Lemon Pie

  *180 grams of Maria or digestive biscuits
  * 80 grams of butter
  * 2 lemons
  * 1 dessert spoon of vanilla aroma
  * 200 grams of condensed milk
  * 200 grams of milk cream to mount


1. To make Grandma's no-bake lemon cake, the first thing you need to do is prepare the base. To do this, crush the cookies in a robot until they are powdered.


2. Melt the butter for a few seconds in the microwave and mix with the cookies until it forms a compact mass.

3. Take a 20 cm mold. and cover the base of the mold with the cookie dough. Next, press the base of a glass with a spoon so that it is consistent. Then, place the mold in the fridge while you prepare the lemon cream.

4.  Add a bowl with the cream and beat until half whipped, add the vanilla spoon and the condensed milk. Mix again.

5. Grate the two lemons and extract the juice from them. Add it to the bowl, along with the cream. Beat again, you will notice that adding the lemon juice will thicken the cream immediately.


6. Remove the cookie mold from the fridge, fill the cake with the lemon cream. With a spatula, smooth the surface of the cake so that it is smooth.

7. Put the grandmother's lemon cake back in the fridge for a minimum of 2-3 hours, or if you can make it overnight it will be even better. When serving, garnish the cake with lemon wedges, lemon zest or crushed biscuits on top. Serve it very cold, you can put it in the freezer for a while.
